Registration and Search Functions
Once you have registered an account with us you will have access to our complete database of skilled network engineers enabling you to search by your hourly budget, vendor specialisation, qualifications or simply by geographical area.
Because all fully registered engineers have been manually vetted by our staff, all of which have real world network experience, you can be assured that every effort has been made to present you with some of the best network engineers available.
Optional Telephone Interview
We understand that every network and every requirement is different so once you have selected an appropriate engineer you have the option to carry out a short telephone interview using a number and access code we provide both you and your engineer with, giving you the chance to ask any technical questions and to arrange times and places. We hope that once you have spoken to the engineer in person you will have the confidence to select them for your assignment.
Book Now or Bid
Now that you have selected your engineer its up to you to arrange access and to brief the engineer. Engineers that we match with customers work as independent companies or contractors and do not work for TheNetworker, however we request that all engineers sign our non-disclosure and professional conduct agreements in order to protect both of you and if fully registered you have the assurance they have been manually 'vetted' to ensure they offer the best and most cost effective service to you.
Depending upon the engineers profile setup you may have access to either book them for the job straight away for the price as advertised per hour on their profile, bid for their services if they are in particularly high demand, or both.
At the end of the Job
Once your job has been completed you can close your assignment by email, SMS or within your control panel, if during work hours we will contact you up to 30 minutes after completion to invite you to comment on your engineer, we will then raise an invoice on behalf of the engineer and request payment for hours worked.
Control Panel
All of these functions can be controlled from your control panel where you will be able to schedule jobs and interview calls, pay invoices and email your engineers directly. You can even save your favourite engineers or build your own on-call support team from engineers you may or may not have used previously within the 'Dream Team' section for quick access later.
